If there's a trailer truck in the right lane going 35 in a 55 zone, it is not okay to be going the same speed right next to it in the left lane, slowing down everyone else behind you. Thanks.

I feel your pains.

Was behind a semi in the left lane, who was passing a semi in the middle lane, who was passing a semi in the right lane. All were doing 60-65MPH. It took TOO DAMN LONG. Because hills.

Im from Long Island and I'll concur. Too many drivers here really shouldn't be driving. They are either driving distracted or doing something stupid like changing lanes with no signal or have no clue as what a yield sign means... My brother recently got into an accident because the lady wasn't paying attention. Just drifted into his lane and sideswiped him. He felt shitty afterwards even though he was 197% in the right.

There's no reason for people to not indicate. I don't understand why people don't do it.

I find that sometimes people will come up and give their car a full throttle run to cut me off when I signal. This is especially prevalent on Hempstead Turnpike. I have to make sure when I'm getting over that I have a ton of room behind me in the lane I'm going into.

Also, it would seem that the middle lane is the unofficial slow lane for any road with 3 lanes upon Long Island.
